Herefordshire offers many beautiful walks where you can delve into the countryside and switch off from your daily grind. We will provide you with maps so you can truly explore the natural beauty of what we call home. We are situated on the Black and White Trail, a 40-mile circular trail that explores many picturesque Black and White villages, perfect for a leisurely drive or bike ride for you to explore Herefordshire. If you fancy crossing the border to Wales, Hay-on-Wye, also known as the ‘Book Town’ or ‘Hay’, has quaint bookshops at every twist and turn, you’ll be sure to find a good read. Hay-on-Wye has a lot more than meets the eye, there are a lot of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Ludlow is also a short drive away and is enriched throughout the year by a series of festivals, fairs and carnivals many set against the backdrop of Ludlow Castle. These include The Spring Festival, Ludlow Food and Drink Festival and the Medieval Christmas Fayre.

Herefordshire is more than just fields – albeit there are lots of fields, Herefordshire cattle, hops and cider orchards! We have a wonderful selection of local businesses that will bring that little something extra to your getaway.
